Election time is fast approaching, and soon it will be time to elect our next president! Ladies and gentlemen, please go to the polls in the upcoming elections. It only takes a few minutes of your time, and unless you’ve done your civic duty at the polls, you really don’t have any right to complain about our elected officials. Your vote is your voice!
Voting determines funding for programs. The more people vote, the more they make their presence known when the government grants us funding. We need all the help we can get.
Whether you’re a Democrat, a Republican, a Libertarian, or anything in between, your vote matters! If you don’t think your vote has that much power, keep in mind that Thomas Jefferson was elected President by ONE vote in the House of Representatives after the Electoral College had a tie. There was power in the ballot box. Wield your power wisely!
See you at the polls!
